Toothy Critters Love Flies – Cover Review

Today we’re going to review George’s cover you can see below.

Toothy Critters Love FliesThe general layout of the cover is good.

Here are some tips that will help from a marketing standpoint:

  • Put the tile on two rows Toothy Critters / Love Flies and try to increase it’s size
  • I would use a different font fr the title and author
  • Subtitle is hardly readable when the cover is shrink down
  • Making the cover in 3d will help.

Try these changes and I can almost guarantee they will increase your sales ratio.

Best,
Ovi

The 13th Civilisation – Cover Review

Guillermo had asked us to review the following cover:

The 13th CivilisationThe cover is quite good.

Here are a couple of suggestions that might improve it a little:

  • Adding a human element (like in the old navigational maps) might help
  • Having the ecover in 3d  will boost your conversion
  • The cover lacks contrast and action
  • I like the sepia tone as it makes you think of the past

Hoping that these ideas will help you increase your sales,

“Insight Ignites The Eyewitness” – Cover Review

Insight Ignites Cover

Insight Ignites Cover

Roy asked us to review his ebook cover for Insight Ignites The Eyewitness.

Here are a couple of ideas to keep in mind:

1. The cover design looks kind of dull – you might want to make it a little sharper

2. The title is quite small and doesn’t pop out

3. The font used for the text doesn’t do justice to this book. You might ant to try something more action oriented. ;)

4. Did you really wanted to spell the genre word as Gener?

All in one, I do think you have a great book here and I’m pretty sure you can mae it look better with a professionally designed cover.

Best,
Ovi Dogar

The Foaling Guide Cover Review

The Foaling Guide

The Foaling Guide

Mark Andrews of www.thefoalingguide.com asked us to review his ebook cover so here are a few things that should increase its apearance and increase sales:

  • a 3d look will help alot
  • add some more text (author and perhaps a statement)
  • the font for the title is a big no, no – Comic fonts conveys the lack of seriosity
  • the image is quite good – you might want to keep it
  • adding some graphical elements will help too.

All in one, you have a very basic e-book cover that I’m not so sure is helping your sales. :(

Best regards,
Ovi Dogar

NewNetworkmarketingSecrets.com Cover Review

New Networkmarketing Secrets

New Network Marketing Secrets

Roger Loh of newnetworkmarketingsecrets.com asked us to review it’s main cover:

Here are a few points to help with the design:

1. The title going over the image is a little disturbing;
2. You should save it as a jpg instead of a gif as that will improve the color rendition;
3. Revealed is way to empowered by both size and the color reversal – I would rather like to read Network Marketing Secrets in a larger font;
4. The image doesn’t have to do much with the book’s message;
5. The red color gets your attention, but considering the lack of trust people have in Network Marketing, a touch of blue would help a lot with the credibility.

Hope this helps,

Ovi Dogar

DoctorRivka.com Cover Review

Re-Creating Your Life

Re-Creating Your Life

Here are a few points to make this cover look better, and increase your sales:

1. your photo…should be flipped horizontally so you’re facing the middle of the cover instead of the left edge

2. the text is a little too crammed vertically.

3. the title touching the cover edges is a big no, no

4. you have too much space around the preface’s author.

5. a 3D look for the cover will improve the conversion. If you can’t make it in 3D, you might want to consider displaying only the front cover and cut off the spine

Hope this helps!

BlogTalkRadioMadeEasy.com Cover Review

BlogTalkRadio Made Easy

BlogTalkRadio Made Easy

Mary Louise of BlogTalkRadioMadeEasy.com asked us to review her cover.

So, here we go:

1. the colors used are OK – blue gives an air of seriousness while orange makes the product seem affordable.

2. the background image is not so clear, but I would have used something radio related (waves/antenaes, etc.)

3. the fonts, are a little too much

4. the URL should be spelled without the spaces

5. The statement font is a little to small, and the statement on the long side – you should keep it shorter and increase the font size to make it more readable.

These are just a few points that, if changed will increase your sales!

Warm regards,
